My scanner has always done justice to my traditional work - or at least not completely slaughtered it.
Until now, that is. Even if this is basically a doodle, the colors and lines and everything look so much better on paper. Also, my white ink brush has gotten even worse. It's just really uneven and makes lumps all around and I NEED TO BUY A NEW ONE. But I don't feel comfortable buying anything until I manage to sort out my finances for my new computer and for school stuff. And while a brush isn't exactly a major investment, it involves convincing someone to drive me to Hyannis, which isn't exactly close.
What bothers me the most, I think, is the hair. I was actually kind of happy with it on paper, where the white ink lines don't look nearly that gross, and I also have some purplish shading that just didn't show up at all. :X Oh well, screw you scanner.
More explanation, less whining, though! >:O I was going to draw all of the members of Iceman (a Japanese band) but I got lazy after I drew Daisuke Asakura, so he's all I have for now. I think, if I find the time, I'll do a set of DA Family doodles in this style - at least for the members who I know enough about to feel comfortable trying to draw them (so that leaves.. Kenichi Ito, Michihiro Kuroda, Hiroyuki Takami (maybe), Takanori Nishikawa, and Kotani Kinya, at the moment).
I need to do summer homework ugghhh. I'm going to totally screw myself over.
